Join us at the 2012 Town of Clifton Park July 4th Celebration! The biggest municipally run July 4th celebration in the Capital Region, experience small-town America right here in Clifton Park! From a patriotic parade, to amusements rides, vendors, live music, all leading up to glorious fireworks, this is the biggest can’t-miss event around! See our full schedule below!
12 p.m. Parade – from Shenendehowa to Clifton Common (Line up 11 a.m.) Parade route: Shen main entrance, west on Route 146, south on Vischer Ferry Road to Clifton Common
1 p.m. Opening Ceremonies – VFW, Elks & American Legion – Welcome and Opening Remarks from Town Supervisor Phil Barrett, Introduction of major sponsors.
12 – 10 p.m. Food Court – Hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, french fries, ice cream, fried dough, German & southwestern foods, cupcakes, Italian ices, beverages & more…
12 – 8 p.m. Amusement Rides (tickets required) Rides include: Slide, Swing ride, Tub ride & more
12 – 8 p.m. Craft Show
1 – 4 p.m. Pony Rides and Petting Zoo
1– 5 p.m. Photobooth
1 – 5 p.m. Fire Prevention Bus – Explore the bus to learn more about how to keep you and your family safe! Free tour for all ages. Fire sprinkler tent with realistic demo movie.
On the Clifton Common Stage:
4:00 – 5:00 p.m. Lethal Sonic Cocktail Modern alternative acoustic.
5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Sirsy – Fiery, soulful indie pop that rocks!
8:00 – 9:30 p.m. California Transit Authority All-star ensemble led by Danny Seraphine, founding member and former drummer of the band Chicago. CTA Performance sponsored by County Waste with support from Parkway Music!
