ALBANY, N.Y. – Small businesses from a variety of industries, from meat markets to salons, will be recognized at the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 15th Annual Small Business Excellence Awards luncheon in Albany on Wednesday.
SBA, the New York Business Development Corporation, area lenders and economic developers will recognize these successful businesses at a luncheon and awards ceremony on Wednesday, May 8th at 11:30 AM. The luncheon will be emceed by WRGB’s news anchor Greg Floyd and held at The Albany Marriott Hotel in Albany.
In addition to 16 Small Business Excellence award winners, SBA will recognize the Albany Small Business Development Center with a Regional Small Business Week award for its outstanding achievements. A detailed profile on each Small Business Excellence award winner will be available at the luncheon on May 8.
Business owners, bankers and SBA’s Syracuse District Director will be available for interviews before and after the event. A list of the Small Business Excellence winners is attached.
